Vehicle Damage Policy

1. Insurance Coverage

Our vehicles are fully covered by First-Class Commercial Insurance in accordance with Thai regulations.

This insurance ensures that renters are financially protected in the event of an accident, subject to the insurance deductible and policy terms.

2. If the Renter is Not at Fault

If the accident is caused by a verified third party and supported by proper documentation, such as a police report, the renter will not be responsible for any damage costs.

3. If the Renter is at Fault

If the renter is at fault or responsible for the damage, the renter may be liable for the insurance deductible and applicable excess costs.

The renter’s maximum financial responsibility will not exceed 10,000 THB per incident.

Typical liability amounts are as follows:

• Minor damage: approximately 3,000 – 5,000 THB

• Major damage: up to a maximum of 10,000 THB

This amount covers repair costs and insurance excess as defined under the commercial insurance policy.

4. Maximum Deductible Limit

The standard insurance deductible (excess) is 10,000 THB.

This is the maximum amount the renter may be required to pay in the event of at-fault damage, regardless of the total repair cost.

5. Inspection and Documentation

All vehicles are inspected before delivery and after return. Any damage will be documented and communicated to the renter with supporting evidence.

6. Authorization

By accepting the vehicle and completing payment, the renter authorizes Island Drive Phuket to charge the applicable insurance deductible amount, up to a maximum of 10,000 THB, if required under the insurance policy.
