1️⃣ Is insurance included in the rental price?
Yes. All vehicles include First-Class Commercial Insurance at no additional cost.
If you are not at fault in an accident, you pay nothing.
If you are at fault, your maximum financial responsibility is strictly limited to 10,000 THB per incident.
This ensures full protection and peace of mind during your rental.
2️⃣ What is the maximum amount I would have to pay in case of damage?
Your maximum liability is clearly defined and limited.
Minor damage: approximately 3,000 – 5,000 THB
Major damage: maximum 10,000 THB
You will never be charged beyond this maximum amount for covered incidents.
3️⃣ Do I need to pay in advance to reserve a vehicle?
No. We do not require advance payment to reserve a vehicle.
Payment is collected on the vehicle delivery or pickup date.
This allows flexible booking with no financial risk before your trip begins.
4️⃣ What payment methods do you accept?
We accept secure payments via:
• Credit card
• Debit card
• Bank transfer
• Cash
Credit card payments are securely processed through our international payment provider.
5️⃣ Is there a security deposit?
Yes. A refundable security deposit may be required depending on the vehicle.
The deposit covers potential damages, traffic fines, or insurance excess if applicable.
The deposit is fully refunded after vehicle return and inspection.
6️⃣ Will I receive a refund if I return the vehicle early?
No. Once the rental has started and payment has been made, unused rental days are non-refundable.
This policy ensures vehicle availability and operational fairness.
7️⃣ What happens if I am not at fault in an accident?
If you are not at fault and the incident is properly documented, you will not be responsible for damage costs.
Our commercial insurance will handle the claim.
8️⃣ What should I do if an accident occurs?
Please contact Island Drive Phuket immediately via WhatsApp.
Our team will assist you and coordinate with the insurance company.
We provide full support throughout the process.
9️⃣ Is a credit card hold required?
No. We do not place a credit card hold or pre-authorization.
We only collect payment for the rental and a refundable security deposit.

• Valid driver’s license
• International Driving Permit (recommended)
